Starting on Saturday, we make pilgrimage to Jerusalem - the song. It's a 125 mile walk in honour of William Blake’s poem which Hubert Parry set to song - 100 years ago (1916-2016). Our journey goes from the graves of the song's creators, Blake (unmarked in Bunhill Fields) and Parry (marble grandeur in St Pauls Cathedral) to the source of the song on the Sussex coastline, where both Londoners were drawn, 6 miles and 112 years apart, to create England’s unofficial national anthem.
