Ultra violet lights did exist in the late 1800’s but they were primarily used in laboratory settings, so I am not talking about those lights. I’m talking about UV lights produced commercially for the home. They didn’t have those so why use uranium? Because someone noticed what happens when it’s placed in direct sunlight; an other worldly glow. Also, how else would they get that vitamin pee shade?
