After trying different thyroid medications and doses since having my thyroid removed, I finally stabilized on Synthroid 100 mcg — but I’m still struggling with fatigue, joint pain, weakness, depression, nausea, and weight changes. My doctor agreed to let me try liothyronine sodium 5 mcg (T3) along with my Synthroid to see if it helps bring back my energy and balance.
