Rice farming is a step-by-step process that begins with land preparation and ends with harvesting. First, farmers prepare the soil by clearing, plowing, and leveling the field to retain water. Then, they select good rice seeds and plant them either directly into the soil or by first raising seedlings in a nursery and later transplanting them into the field.
