Rapid City Fire Department Responds to Structure Fire on E Custer Street At approximately 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, the Rapid City Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 400 block of E Custer Street. Before crews arrived on scene a column of smoke could be seen coming from the area. Upon arrival, smoke and flames could be seen coming from a single car detached garage. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. The back of the house did receive minor damage. No injuries
