Last night's time-lapse of our egg parasitoid wasps milling around inside their Paonias myops, small-eyed sphinx, egg shell. The wasp's emergence is a little disappointing as they exit from low down on the egg, but the imagery of adult wasps contained within a tiny sphere is magical. The BIG question is do we have TWO species of parasitoid wasp inside a SINGLE egg? Any parasitoid experts out there? | The Caterpillar Lab
