Anyone caught tampering with Donald Trump’s Washington-area restoration projects could be on the hook for significant prison time. The president warned against vandalizing the monuments and statues that his administration has been trying to clean ahead of America’s 250th anniversary.
President Donald Trump took to social media Monday to warn Americans against vandalizing his beautification projects in Washington, D.C., threatening those who “even attempt” to destroy “such things” with a decade behind bars.
Federal prosecutors had been examining the circumstances behind the commutation of David Gentile’s sentence. He was aided by a Catholic priest friendly with the president.
